Check out our blog, maintained by social worker, Amanda Body. Amanda recently earned her MSW from the University of Kentucky. While attending graduate school, Amanda interned in a wide variety of social work fields, such as a day treatment center, an alternative school, and at a children’s law center. Amanda also worked at a head start preschool program, working with marginalized populations.
Currently, Amanda works as a Child Protective Service Investigator for the Commonwealth of Kentucky where she investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect and determining a course of action for the families involved in the system. Follow Amanda as she navigates her own challenges and successes in the field and inspires others to pursue lives of service.
